Conserving Water, Eco friendly shower design

As the average five minute shower uses up to 20 liters of water, an as most people have two showers a day, water usage is extreme, when  considering some country’s are crying out for water . There has been many attempts on new designs to find a way to economize water usage.

Most shower are designed to give a stream of water over the head, leaving most of the water flowing down the drain. But designers are come up with new ideas to make the most of water usage, and come up with more Eco friendly options.

The Eden mist

Designer Alemina Vranes from New South Wales, who is a industrial designer, designed the Eden mist. The shower which allows water to be converted in to droplets with the add of a aerator which covers the person in mist , this method uses  only 1 liter of water per minute.
